The Rasmussen family's own home on Collingwood Street in Vancouver — designed and built by Søren for his family, and the project closest to home in every sense.

A West Coast modern composition of cedar-clad pavilions with deep overhangs, the house opens onto a garden made with the same care as the architecture: a glass-roofed timber pergola on cast concrete columns, a koi pond crossed by a low wooden deck, and a landscape of lawn, Japanese maple, stone path and clipped evergreen hedge.
