Developed through the rezoning of industrial land under a then-new zoning for artist live-work condominiums, Mainspace provides 124 live-work units of a deliberately industrial character.

Upper-level suites are simple open studios without partitions; on the main floor, sixteen two-level units front the street with retail presence at grade and residential mezzanines above.
