As design architect and primary consultant, the firm led this 500,000-square-foot, US$200-million residential development on prime waterfront in Portland's Pearl District, in collaboration with Oregon architects of record Otak Inc.

The office was instrumental in carrying the project through an extensive public process: architectural animations set the proposed scheme against what the city's guidelines allowed, demonstrating a form more sympathetic in its shadowing, massing and urban greenway experience than one that merely met the standards.
