Phase One completely rebuilt York House School's Junior School: the building was expanded into an existing courtyard, creating a new entrance and doubling the floor area — keeping the same number of classrooms while increasing the size and amenity of each — together with a new lower-level assembly room, a full seismic upgrade, new glazing and recladding.

The second phase expanded the Senior School with a new library, art room, staff room and student dining room, as the first step toward the eventual replacement of the older building.
